pork tenderloin

in 250 deg f smoker and 1.5 hrs later internal temp at 175f.

seems a bit quick for me.

or am i just freaking on being able to smoke this smaller cut so fast?

they are out of smoker now and wrapped in foil.

If you're talking about a real pork tenderloin of 1-1/2 - 2lb then no that's normal to a bit long of a cook at that temp. If you're talking about the larger pork loin then depending on the size of the chunk of meat that might be fast.
