If a reputable caterer who does not do BBQ wanted you to do BBQ for them to serve at thier catering event would you do it? If so what would you charge them for pork, buns & sauce to drop off for 80 guests? Figuring you are going to stay up most of the night cooking for this one event what is it worth? I am thinking $8.00-$8.50pp for pulled pork, buns and sauce based on 80 people. If I go too low I have another caterer potentially competing against me for jobs using my product.

I'd probably give the caterer a 15-20% discount on my usual price as a finders fee with the stipulation that I get to advertise my Q at the event...

I provide several caterers with whole roasts for their events. However, for me it's just an addition to my daily restaurant cook so not a lot of extra work. Most caterers are more than willing to let attendees know where the meat came from. I don't provide to bbq caterers just high end that provide services that I wouldn't otherwise provide.
