I just got this little ECB type smoker from Tractor Supply Co. For the $ spent($60) it's pretty good though I need to do 1 major mod & maybe another optional one. It's the Red Stone Charcoal bullet type smoker.
I need to do some kind of mod on the charcoal pan (3rd/4th pics) either using a disk w/ holes in it (I used to see what I need at Academy though not sure if they still have it) or get some kind of expanded sheet steel disk cut & use tin foil pan in the bottom for ash catching though I could drill holes in the current pan but capacity is limited w/ it. I just did a quick burnin last night, overall it's pretty leak proof other than at side door. I'm not sure if gasket would work or if high temp caulk would be better but it may not be worth the effort. I'll try to get the charcoal pan problem worked out first to see if that would need to be fixed at all.
