Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh!

Just caramelized 1 pound of brown sugar I was drying out in the oven to make some rubs.:frown:
Word to the wise. Don't forget what you are doing and get involved in other things when you are drying out brown sugar for your rubs.
Sorry no pron. No pron it didn't happen....right?

Caramel is great. But you try and clean the pan. Guess I will just have to get another when I go get more Brown Sugar.

Affirmative, didn't happen.

I live by the no pics didn't happen theory of life. Therefore, just throw the pan out, leaving no evidence and it didn't happen. :-P

In case you all were wondering. I did a taste test to see if it on it to see if it was still usable.
Guess what?
It is bitter and acrid. Now I know why so many pits choose to leave brown sugar out of the rub. When it goes, it goes fast and it goes bad.

Shoot! Hope it wasn't one of your favorite pans.

I love to cook, so all my pans are my favorites.

Luckily it was not one of my good sheet pans.

Well live and learn. As the the German's would say "Ich bin idiot"
