Beef short ribs. Ground for HB MEAT. Funny smell. What do you think?
Hi Brethren,
I ground this yesterday to make burgers with. It was going to be a mix of different meats actually. I have not mixed them yet. This meat I bought at Sams Club as a reduced price because of the expiration date so I brought it home and put it in the freezer. It looks good but does not smell right. What to do? Toss or cook? http://i1198.photobucket.com/albums/...psf28de648.jpg |
If any meat does not smell right to me I toss it.

If it smells like cologne leave it alone.....

Its Not a sin to bin

I'd fling it if it doesn't smell right.
|
like some other things in life "if it stinks its busted"
|
I tossed beef back ribs the other day.
When in doubt, toss it out. |
That's 8 to 0.
It's gone. I knew what to do. Everyone letting me know I'm doing the right thing just made it easer. Thanks Brethren!!! |
When in doubt throw it out

That's the smell of regret. The regret of wasting some good short ribs.
