It was another good cook off. I was table captain again...getting to be a habit - but, gotta have 'em if I ever want to make the coveted "Master Judge" rank!:-D

Super congrats to Jimmy and Rub - they both were pretty stoked! I think everyone had a pretty good weekend...but it POURED rain Friday/overnight to Saturday. Things were dried out a lot by the time I got there at 8:30...but ALL the teams said it was an issue.

Met up with Dr. Frank & Swine - he was, I think, pitbitchin' for Big Daddy Q and hanging around Jimmy's area...we're going to hook up at Douglas next weekend and share stories...and a few adult beverages.

Kissimmee has had bbq contest for the past 7 years, but this is the first sanctioned event...a few power & water issues to work out, but overall I think they did a great job.

There was a pro bass tournament going on Lake Toho and the ProAm is tomorrow...the festival grounds were the HQ for that, too, and so we got to hear/see the awards for the fishermen...I'm thinking I'm in the wrong competition/sport...they were paying $1K down to 15th place!!:shock: Must be nice to have sponsors.:twisted:
