The ring is dented! However, Weber is sending me a replacement ring. Sucks, I wanted to start it up this weekend.

Yeah, fire it up!! I just got a new 22.5 WSM for christmas and just got it assembled and burnt in yesterday. I'm gonna light up a brisket on Sunday.

No, it is the main body where the dome connects. It is dented, the coating has flaked off and the dome does not seat right. If I didn't just open it and spend so much money on it, I would just say to hell with it.

That's the important part. Air leaks would make it almost impossible to control temperature (without duct tape. :becky: )
