Thanks Arlin, for the heads-up. The article was not very specific about what kind of beef, but I am guessing pre-made burgers.

Nasty stuff, I usually buy pre-made patty's at Costco so definitely gonna watch out for that.

I do not buy ground beef from any source except one local Publix whose butcher I trust. Then I choose the cut and have him grind it while I wait. Otherwise I grind my own with my KA grinder or sometimes for extremly small amounts, in a food processor.

Been doing this for years. Also basically do not eat ground meat in any fast food or chain restaurant.
