Weber Genesis Silver B BBQ island help

So I scored 2 Weber Genesis Silver B grills on Craigslist in great condition! We are in the process of building a new home and knowing I wasn't going to be able to afford my $500+ new grill I grabbed these. Does anyone have any pics of how they incorporated this type of grill into an island. Its not as easy since it has the side controls. Just looking for some good ideas on how to do this. I am going to be adding a gas cook top and have a table top charcoal grill on a lowered counter top with fridge underneath.

any photos or suggestions would really help I'm trying to do this on the cheap and still am unsure about the siding and counter top...

Thanks Guys

Bigger blanks, but no pictures. I am on an iPad if that is helpful.

There are some couple of ideas, try the search for table, island or kettle table

How do you like your genesis?

TheKomoman 03-14-2013 08:37 PM

My Genesis Silver is a workhorse.. and wish it looked as good as the 2 used units you just bought! Mine is about 12 years old and I replaced the burners 2 years ago because they were just starting to show some signs of wear/rust. I like it a lot, but after getting into more serious Q I do wish the burners were front-to-back instead of side-to-side so I could do indirect when I don't have time to setup the Egg and get it started. But really, as gas grills go, you can't ask for more. 12 years later original starter and it still fires on the first shot, the body is solid.. they're good stuff.

That's great to hear! I actually got both of them for $40. There was no way I was going to pass them up
