Can't finda da sauce..
Hey everyone,
It's been a while since I've posted. I've been lurking recently. :tape: Without anywhere else to turn, I am posting too look for some help. A while back I received some Porky's Place Sauce in a trade round. I have yet to be able to find it locally or online. Any link that I can find seems to be dead. Would anyone happen to either know where I could find it and/or a recipe that is very close to it. I've linked a pic to what I'm looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone, -Andy http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3581/3...e7b_z.jpg?zz=1 |
Cannot help you on the Porky stuff but it looks very similar to Shack Sauce which can be tweaked to your liking. Scroll to the bottom of page and type in Shack Sauce.Hope it helps.

Write or call and ask if it can be shipped to you. [email protected]

Thanks for the help guys!
I'm going to try both suggestions. It'd be really cool if I can tailor a recipe to my exact likings but I'd also like to be able to just order some. Thanks again! |
Well, that didn't take long. Email address is dead.
Guess I'll try the phone number. |
This is what I was able to find.

Thanks Chef!
I'm going to be giving them a ring in a little bit. |

Shack Attack BBQ Sauce Here is a delicious version of an old VA BBQ sauce inspired by a VA BBQ man named Shack. I drink this stuff straight, that's how good it is. It has no sugar in it, so sweet sauce fans may want to stay away. INGREDIENTS 1 1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar 1/4 cup water 1/4 cup of your favorite hot sauce 1 Tablespoon (TBS) Paprika 1 TBS Black Pepper 1 TBS Kitchen Salt 2 TBS Yellow Mustard (French) INSTRUCTIONS Mix well, let sit for at least 24 to 48 hours before serving for best results. I blend it in my Ninja, that's why it's about 16 ounces total. |
Thanks guys!
Looks like I'll be trying to make my own. The email and phone number both turn up nothing for me. Not necessarily a bad thing though. Just not as easy, but then again nothing easy is worth having, right? |
