What happened to SmokinAussie?!?

Ohhhhhh. You meant TARDY.:becky:

Well, WWFBBQ is now tied with me, thanks to my own vote.

So, it's a throwdown within a throwdown -- the Swanson's Salisbury Steak sub-throwdown.

If he votes for me, I'll be back in the lead. :heh:

BTW, not only was Smoking Aussie late, his food is on an undivided dinner plate. What's up with that?

HighQ. Simple. Straight forward. Good and cheap looking. Just the way I like it.

Pregnant, he doesn't want it made known publicly though, so shhh.

It was caseydog hands down for me. While I was initially pi$$ed because I bought the same TV dinner for inspiration and ideas, that quicky faded when I saw the results. I didn't even bother trying to top that, but I will say I did eat said TV dinner (and it also might as well have been made out of fresh zombie)...

I'm torn and cant decide, if TV dinners really looked like those I probably would have never gotten into BBQ.

Thanks CD, does that mean you like my point n shoot better?

High Q, I love your dish I almost used the same plate for my entry. :becky:

Couldn't vote for myself, so I figured the Salisbury Steak guys should stick together. That beef and gravy over fries with an egg on top thing looks like good man-food, too.

And, I'm too much of a TV Dinner snob to vote for anything on a regular plate. :drama:

Which drove my voting too. Then, I don't think I've ever seen french fries in a TV dinner either. Plus, Salisbury steak is classic, so my vote goes to Casey Dog.

Oh, I definitely remember fries in TV dinners when I was little, Fries AND corn, carbohydrate overload.

Guess my mom just didn't buy those.:tsk:

I had to go with CD because he was a good dog and used a segmented plate.

schellter 07-25-2011 05:20 PM

I never let presentation influence my vote I just choose the one I'd most like to eat. The ribs a fries look good to me.

SmokinAussie 07-25-2011 05:28 PM

I had to vote for Moose because of what's on the TV, and the beer, and the fries and ribs.

I couldnt vote for myself, cause I just added that late to mess with Chris's head cause he was late himself getting the vote thread up!

You've responded well though Chris! Had people worried there for about .023 seconds!

Cheers!

Bill

I ended up with High-Q. I so wanted either of the ribs, but never have I seen or even imagined a TV dinner having two different main entrees. Do they do that now? Liked CD's a lot, but was really concerned with those tomato sides surviving in my freezer. Maybe this didn't need to ever be in the freezer. Well, no matter, that Kettle-Fried Chicken looks done to perfection and it really looks like a TV dinner. Hey, what happened to the apple cobblers? Great job everyone!
