Spiced Crab recipe (pr)n)
2 Lb crab shelled and cut into pieces
1/2 cup neutral oil 1 tsp:cayenne, cumin 3 tsp : garlic, ginger, lemongrass, dark soy, fresh sliced chilies 1/2 tsp : turmeric Mix well and let sit. 6 scallion cut into 2 inch pieces Bunch of coriander chopped. 1 cup of grape tomatoes, halved Steam crabs for 5 minutes. Then put oil mixture into how wok, and fry the crabs & tomatoes and scallion for 4 minutes turning constantly. Dish up and squeeze lemon over. Beer or white wine goes great! http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/...ps5f537b74.jpg The idea is to get a fast yet tasty crab dish without the sticky sauces that usually accompany these dishes. The crab is still sweet crab tasting but gnawing on the shells gives a fantastic bunch of kick and flavours Enjoy! |
