2nd Annual Smoke on the Square - Franklin, IN - June 22-23, 2012
 

Greetings fellow competitors. Our 2nd Annual KCBS contest is taking shape and we already have a number of teams signed up for this year's installment. Our event is going to be bigger and better this year, including more purse money which is always nice. :)

The early bird registration period is up March 31, 2012, but if you email me at [email protected], I will hold a spot for BBQ Brethren members at the early bird rate. If you ask those who attended last year, you will find they had an excellent time with our downtown venue. We have great music on Friday night, free ice, breakfast Saturday morning and much more. We are limited to only 30 teams so get in early before we run out of room.

Born and raised in INDY!, my mom lives in Prince's Lake! Just might have to make the long trip to compete!

We would love to have you, Smokin Swine. Last year was our first year and we had 23 teams and everyone had a blast. We increased the prize money and added a little room to bump us up to 30 teams. The event is right downtown and the whole town rolls out the red carpet. We have a classic car show Friday night, the old, restored movie theater is showing "Babe" to keep the pig theme rolling, and we will have music all night Friday night and Saturday until 8 pm. We had about 5,000 visitors come through last year. I can guarantee you a good time. I hope you choose to come visit. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
