Hi All!!
My Name is Bob Younghusband and I live in Sachse, Texas, NE of Dallas. I am not a complete newbie to Smoking meats, but only began a year or two ago.

I currently and a mod'd ECB and everyone tells me that my Q comes out great... We're our own worst critics though  and I can always improve. I started on SMF and learned a bunch. I have done the usual items on the ECB.... Brisket, Chuckies, 3-2-1 ribs, Turkeys and Chickens and Canadian Bacon. I also have a number of friends who are avid hunters, so the Wild boar makes it into my smokler regularly.

I want to build a UDS and that is how I got directed here.

WOW, what a UDS thread you have here...:clap2: gonna take a while to absorb a lot of it... Lo 'n slo, right??

My other interests are Woodworking (lathe and scroll work), Kayak Fishing, cooking and enjoying life.

Welcome. I'm new to this forum myself. Like you I was drawn here while investigating UDS. I am in the process of building one myself. You are right we are our own worst critic.

Divemaster,
You make addiction sound like a bad thing. Not always....:-D And it IS 12 steps from the back door to my smoker.... migh want to reconsider that thought. :heh:

Blackdog,
I have made it to page 38 of the UDS thread.... So far so good...
