Guys, I've got 25 folks looking to eat some brisket in a couple of weeks. Any recommendations on a good place? We'll actually be in Waynesville, NC, about 30 minutes East of Asheville.
Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure about how their brisket is (or if they offer it), but give 12 Bones Smokehouse (http://www.12bones.com/) a shot. They have a location in Asheville as well as one just south of Asheville in Arden.

I really enjoyed the pork and sides at Green River Barbecue in Saluda, NC which is just southwest of Ashville and well worth the drive
The closest really good brisket is in Texas :icon_wink

Thanks fellas. Normally we cook ourselves, but there's a logistical issue to deal with.

Did 12-Bones, guys were top notch. Brisket was good, especially for NC, but the Jalapeno Grits, now they were worth the trip!
