Hello everyone,

I am new to the board but not new to BBQ I have competing since 2004 under the name Smokey J's BBQ. I do anywhere from4-6 contests a year, mostly KCBS and backyard. My team consists of myself and my wife and 2 boys. I cook on Weber Smokey Mountains, I think they are the best cooked around. I like them so much I have one tattooed on my leg, which I believe is a one of a kind. I just finished my season up at Arthur this year, I finished 22 out of 53, not to bad. I am looking forward to talking BBQ with everyone. IN my spare time I am a Scoutmaster for a local boyscout troop, and our whole family is really into Geocaching.

The gal that organized it got promoted and her replacement didn't want to mess with it. No one wanted to mess with the HD. Remember the witch that sat on the roof and swept down on her broom whenever the possibility of a violation was committed.

We were a couple sites down from you.

Yes I remember her.We had trouble with that one recently. We were selling bottled water and cans of soda for a Cubscout Garage Sale. everything had to be stored in coolers with drains that were open with new 5 gallon buckets under them to catch the water. She showed up early to make sure we were within regulations...All of that for soda and water.
