Labor Day Cook-offs

Any Cook-offs in your area this Labor Day weekend. Here in Reno-Sparks, Nevada we are about to have the annual Best in the West Rib Cook-off.

The Contestants are darned good; the (free) entertainment is great, almost thirty bands this year.

In past years over 300,000 have attended.

I will be home cooking my own award winning ribs (at least my S.O. loves them). I will surely stop by for a taste.

This is a beautiful area. It gets pretty crowded as the Burning Man "festival" is going on this weekend also.

Same here, except at the Belly Brothers......maybe BBII will set up the 5th wheel and I'll stay up all night. Ahhh.....just like old times......I'm excited......
