In December 2008, I entered my first BBQ Competition (the FBA Triple Crown Backyard Division) and was fortunate enough to win Grand. That night, Jimmy Brod (smokincracker) told me about this site and I have been a brethren member ever since. This weekend, all the planets finally aligned and we (my Dad and I) won our first Professional Contest! I want to say thanks to all of the brethren for helping me reach this goal! I have learned a ton from ya'll and have also met some lifelong friends too. I look forward to meeting many more of you! I've got a year to figure out how I can finance a trip out to the royal to do that...lol. Thanks again brethren- YA'LL ROCK!
