Just back from doing Ft. Valley Hambone Jam, Ft. Valley Ga. Kudzu Q. We did 6th in sauce, 5th in ribs, third in Pulled pork. I did the sauce and P Pork. We didn't do well in Loin. It was the state championship so we got double points for all our top tens. I did the sauce and pulled Pork. Just my 3rd comp. 2nd GBA comp. My partner uses a Treager, and I used my new WSM. It was also the first comp for the new seasn for GBA too. So we're off to a good start. Pulling Butts and taking names.

That's an incredible start for you! Congratulations!
It took me four years of competing and a non-sanctioned event to finally rise above tenth place overall in a competition.

Yep, I did a blackberry BBQ sauce, and I did the Pulled Pork. The other guy on the team did Ribs, and his wife did the Pork Loin.
