Louisiana bbq cookoff on TV

All you guys that were wondering about crawfish and boudin, The food network was here last year for The Contraband Days Festival in Lake Charles Louisisana where I live. They are going to air the bbq cookoff segment this saturday, 5:30pm if you're interested..Its a fun two week festival full of cajun music and food, parades, fireworks, lots of bands, and a whole lot of other stuff. We pass a good time I ger-on-tee..yall watch...

I just watched it....pretty interesting.....especially when they showed that brisket sliced in half and stuffed with Vidallia onions. Phil didn't know he was cookin' Cajun style when he experimented cooking a brisket on a bed of onions.......or maybe he did! LOL

I like about anything fixed with crabmeat or shrimp. I must admit I could do without the wild game part of the contest.

Good show, I enjoyed it!
