I've been messing with my messed up PC for too many hours and needed a break from it. I finally gave in and took it to the shop. I'm using an old secondary machine. So now, it's time to cook.

I picked up a 10 lb bag of leg quarters and a small 4 lb butt. Everything is rubbed and seasoned and in the smoker. Got some small wind gusts up to about 15 MPH, hey, I can deal with it! It was much worse the night we cooked in the competition. I'm cooking the butt a little hotter than I'm used to, but I like the smoker hotter for chicken. I'll just keep a close eye on it and keep it from drying out, it should be OK.
Au Gratin potatoes, green beans, and hot rolls should go nice with the chicken and butt.

I also mixed up a new batch of rub. Now this is what my days off should be like, I'm cooking and I'm loving it! I'm in such a much better mood now!

Chicken is out except for one quarter that looks like it came off a small turkey! LOL Pork butt is at 175* and stuck, we all know what that is like. I'm fixing to put the heat to her and see if I can get her moving again. Pulled pork for breakfast....yummmmm.

dammit I forgot to throw a fatty in!
