I was showing my beautiful Wife the pictures parothead's new smoker on a trailer my wife stunned me and asked...
"Well, how much would something like that cost us?"
I LOVE THIS WOMAN!
But I really have no idea how much different sized smokers on trailers actually cost.
How much are competition sized costing?
Lang?
Klose?
Something custom like parotheads?
Thanks in advance guys!

It doesn't matter anymore ...She wants you to have one because she loves you. Don't disappoint her!! :D :D :D
You can get one for no more than a used compact car. 8)

If you don't have a few $1,000 to spend, I suggest you keep a lookout on ebay by searching for "smoker." If nothing else, it'll give you a good reference point.
the Lang 84 Deluxe is still listed at about $2800 - trailer mounted with verticle warmer. Ben lists his prices on his website.

Most cookers are going up between 11 and 20 percent due to steel costsl

Go to Dave Klose's website. You can e-mail him and he will send you current prices. Be prepared for sticker shock. The price of steel has gone nuts.

Klose factory has used smokers also. These should not be affected by recent price increase for new steel.

Can't imagine what it would run as shown.

PitPirate, you mentioned buying a smoker to compete with. If I remember correctly Greg's new smoker is too large to compete with because of the alotted space at the compitition.
Maybe something the size of the Klose BYC (Back Yard Chef). That way you can trailer it fairly easy and still use it in your back yard.
