Party of thirty at my house this weekend!!!

Gonna do brats, and chicken and brisket and ribs. But no brining or special treatment past rubs...I had foot surgery yesterday, and have to do all of my flame tending on crutches. Luckily, I have a ten year old who will help me barbecue by remote. My wife rented a margarita machine and a bounce house (what a combination) to celebrate her and our youngest's birthdays. We have had freinds offer to brink baby oil for the bounce house, but I'm thinking we won't have enough margarita's for that visual. I'm looking forward to the cooking even though my ten year old squire will have to tend the fire for me.

Ten year old attention span didn't last long when the house got full, so I rounded up someone to pull things off when they were done. The brats disappeared as fast as I could serve them. No leftovers, same with the ribs. The brisket came off an hour later and I have sammich meat from it. Foot's killin' me now that the 'gritas are wearing off. Have enough leftover from the machine to last quite awhile.
Let's see, briskets and margaritas for lunches for a week? Life is gooood. 8)
