Cook off Qualifiers

In my area we've got several cook off qualifying events coming up.

Sep 24-25 in Grant, FL, is a Jack Daniels qualifier

Also Oct 29-30 in Jacksonville, FL, another JD qualifier

Just for grins there is a KCBS sanctioned cookoff Nov 19-20 in Plant City, FL

Those are just one's I see for national events -- there is a sanctioned cookoff somewhere around Florida at least once per month - usually more.

What's happening in your areas?

Tim Cochran and I are going to try our skills at a FBA sanctioned event in Mulberry, FL Oct 1-2.

There are a few here throughout the summer within a couple hour drive. I'm gonna look into them next year for sure. Just talked to Buzz and he will be doing another one the weekend before the bash in Peoria, IL. His house is coming along fine and I told him we all miss him and hope he gets back online soon.

There are 3 qualifiers in WA and 3 more in OR, 1 in Montana and Idaho. We are working on qualifiers in Ut, and Wy for next season. British Columbia it looks like there will be one and another in Calgary, Alberta.
