SILICON DOOR GASKET

I JUST DID STLMIKE'S DOOR GASKET MOD USING PERMATEX SILICON.
HAS ANYONE ELSE EVER USED IT THIS FOR MOD? i'M WONDERING HOW LONG TO LET IT CURE FOR?

let it go for at least 24hours.. but the longer the better up to a few days.

I let it set up for a couple of days before opening the door. When you do open the door, open it slowly to make sure that the door opens cleanly, working it loose if necessary.
