I've been looking at photos of homes in SoCal to determine which ones I'd like to see this weekend. Look what I found in the backyard of one of the homes. Looks like a mighty fine cooker to me. It would be a good supplement to my aresenal.

That's what I initially thought but the home descriptions say outdoor BBQ, nothing about a built in outdoor fridge. There's a smoke stack and a door temperature gauge. Bottom door must be a firebox. I'll know this weekend.

Go for it. Nice house but I probably won't pursue that one.

Tk,
That is a Backwoods smoker with what looks like the water/gass/convection extras. It looks like the Competitor model. Based upon the stainless steel doors, it looks relatively new.

Maybe the whole thing is a firebox, and the building it sits against is the smoke chamber. That would be cool as hell.

Mista - I'm in Friday PM and out Monday AM. No time for anything besides looking at houses, making offers, eating Mexican food, and the last item - having to see my in-laws (that's a pout mod for you) who I haven't seen in over 5 years.

Tk.... A few great places in long beach to eat.. Tequilla Jacks down by Queen Mary. Dont go over the bridge, but head towards the aquarium instead. Pull into the parking lot just south of the aquarium. Tequilla jacks(100s of different tequilla) and some great tex mex and Salsa bar.
The yard house is right next door... so so food, but lots of good brews.
Seal Beach, right on Main street. Walts Warf for excellent seafood for dinner. its on the right as you head towards the peer, 2 blocks up from it on the corner.
Lahaina Broiler, on main street, last place on the left, just across from the peer. GREAT burritos, good lunch and breakfast place.

Yes it was. I saw it Saturday. Nice unit and the guy uses it regularly. I gave him our site address to look around.
