Please Help!!!
I just download the baffle mods, but now I'm unsure of which one is the best to use, which is a better one the? the one that the water pan sit one, or the other one? is the a difference in effect on either? I'm lost now.I want to install one., so I can do my seasoning burn, so I'm can try a new Beef short rib recipe, I foound!!

I think its just a matter of opinion
Either one is better than none, and both work.
I'd pick which ever is easiest for you to make.

That's the way to go. It would appear that the tunnel shaped baffle with semicircular cut out would work better but I get virtually identical temps left and right sides of the smokebox with the angled version. I built my angle baffle out of 16ga sheet. Didn't have a good way to make the tight bends in metal that stout so I built mine in 3pcs, the big center and 2 end caps. Screwed them together after I installed the center piece.

I think the only real difference is the one with the cut out allows for the water pan to set on the lowest notches of the smoker chamber, where the straight across one requires that you use the next notches up.
