just my bandera as a early birthday present. trying to figure this baddle mod and trying to make a charcoal basket. I 've been smoking ribs and and STL pork steaks for years and love to use cherry wood.

These a template for the baffle in our files section. Download it and lay it on a piece of sheet metal.
Other memebers have used dryer vents and cookie sheets to make one.. Alot of diferent ways.
next important mod is the firegrate. i would do that before the basket.
Down load the bandera 101 document from the homepage. that will help get you started.

I agree with BBQChef most important mod is the fire grate, fire won't burn clean without it.
