I just scored a bandera @ wallyworld in their clearance section for$180.
does anyone know what size a charcoal basket should for it?

measure the firebox. 16x20 i think. But the rails come out a bit.

make the basket so it takes up the whole firebox inside the rails. Leave sides closest to the door and cookchamber open. Close the other 2.

you got one hell of a deal there. I thought I did well at wallyworld back in early march when I got my bandera for $248 on clearance while vacationing in Arkansas. They must really want to get rid of them because they shipped up to Michigan for me at no charge.

Hey Neil, where do you vacation in Arkansas? I have a place on Bull Shoals. If you get anywhere near there its definitely worth a stop in Yellville. You can score 10# bags of Ozark Oak charcoal at Harp's market for $2.99 a bag to bring home. :D
