It was a hot, windy and dusty one! There were 82 teams at this 2nd year comp. It was an added money comp for TXBA.

We took 3rd in Chicken and 13th in Brisket. It was nice to get the 2nd check from the added TXBA money for the chicken.

bigracksbbq took 1st in brisket.

KellerSteeler walked in chicken.

Tony76248 walked in beans.

Had a great time. Not sure I can do too many of these summer comps, even with a/c in the comp trailer.

I cooke the brisket and ribs on the SW. Not bad for it's first comp.

It was a tough field. With the 3rd place chicken, I was in a 3 way tie for 8th place. So worst case I finished 11th overall out of 83 teams.:thumb:
