I'm doing a solo road trip starting Sunday, June 13th and returning July 2nd. Looks like I'm taking the northern route (as to avoid AZ and TX). Any "don't miss" locations along 70, 76, or 80?

Gonna try to catch Bro Smoke on the way back while he's in Chi town.

I'd hit Mike Mills' places in Vegas (Memphis Championiship BBQ), then compare to his places in Illinois (17th Street Bar & Grill). The original location in Murphysboro is too far south, but there seems to be location just off the 70 in Fallon IL.

I'll see your arse whilst in the Windy City! Make sure you arrive in the hood before dark. I'd hate to go toe to toe with some dudes to save your arse; I am getting older you know!:laugh:

Made the 2554 mile trip in 39 hours! Ray, sorry but I flew through Iowa overnight. Hell, I didn't eat anything decent along the way.

How long are you staying in Erie? My mom lives there and I was thinking about heading up there this weekend.
