Didn't this get discussed awhile back? Or was that about a tray/basket for peanuts?

Anyone (Mark?) have something they use for turds in the 'dera? I picked up a stainless tray at Lowe's but it was 1/2" too long for the chamber. It also only had 1/2" tall sides. Just thought it would be nice to put them in something that would hold them upright and be easy to move in/out of the smoker.

Here's a couple of sites -- and there are plenty more:

Jester,

Save your money and use the top part of broiler pans if you have them. They fit perfectly in the shelve slots in the Bandera. I cut my turds in half, then stuff and and wrap with bacon. Sunday I had 60 large turd boats on two broiler trays in the Dera. The trays don't take up much room at all so you have room for the essentials. Also work great for jerky.

Used the top part of a broiler pan over the weekend. Probably would've worked better if I had more than 14 peppers. I crumpled some alum foil in the center to keep them from laying flat but they still leaned. Then I had to clean it really well so the wife wouldn't complain! :D

I like the ones DF put up - just gotta justify the expense! Thanks guys.

Yeah, Al and I conceptually designed the ideal turd tray; stainless steel expanded lathe cut to fit for the Bandera smoke chamber. They would have cost about $20 each. Here's a link to the thread:
