I am flying down Friday and hope to make the catfish dinner. Looking forward to whole deal.
Any Brethren coming?

Myron has a class this weekend, Chip? He's also cooking the Big Apple BBQ Block Party in NYC Saturday and Sunday. http://www.bigapplebbq.org/index.php?s=pitmasters

That's a shock SIDE. I contacted them to see if I had my signals crossed, which is quite possible. I'd love to at the gig in New York, as I see the The Derailers are playing. They are my favorite band next to The Replacements.
Hopefully there is a logical explanation.

Yeah, that doesn't make much sense. They've been promoting the fact that they added Myron to the lineup for a while now. I hope he's not trying to do both and short changing folks in the process.

Let me know if you end up coming to the city. I'll be there all day saturday.

I haven't heard back from JOS yet and that makes me a little nervous. It certainly isn't worth the huge money to go there and have a stand-in do the class. I found that there is a class this week-end so something is up.

Hmm, I'll double check with the Big Apple people to see if he's still on their lineup for Saturday and Sunday.

OK, then. Looks like I am the only Brethren going.

No Brethren there, but I feel there will be some new members. Had a good time and learned a heck of a lot.

Wow, I hope he had some way of everyone seeing, that's a lot of people.

Can't wait to hear all about it! His crew ran out of brisket rather early on saturday in NYC.

Not sure what to say except that it was worth the time and the money to do it. I was there mostly for pointers on improving scores in KCBS events. There were several people there to learn just for fun. And some more with an interest in vending and or catering.
Myron is an affable, engaging, and generous host.
