Found this site today and spent hours there. When finished I got in the car and drove an hour to Wimberly to buy all the "Picnic Hardwood Charcoal" on the shelves at the nearest Brookshire Brothers grocery store. Read the reviews and you will see why. Absolutely fascinating site for lumpers.

Great info.

Did you notice the piece of plywood that was pulled out of the 'Cowboy' brand bag ????? I`ll be checking closely any lump I put on my fire from here on out.

I get the B&B out at a little store in Hockley - it is not in grocery stores in Houston.

What is with HastyBake lump - recommended by the makers of the HastyBake ovens??
