Here's the skinny on Beef & Pork prices getting FAT!

Just spoke to my buddy that is in the meat wholesale business. He sells to Grocery chains, Restaraunts, Meat Markets, etc. and me.:biggrin: Last night the wholesale price on butts jumped to $1.20/LB for a semi trailer load, FOB shipping point!! Along with the fact we are getting into the warm weather grillling/Q'ing season when meat consumption naturally increases to boost cost, a more important fact is that the Chinese and Russians are buying all the beef and pork we can ship and it is being subsidized by the U.S. government!(i.e., the U.S. taxpayer as in US).:cry::mad:
