Checking in here. Been que-ing for about 6 years now. Have run the full spectrum. Started with a propane cabinet smoker. Needed more space and wanted to play with fire, so I got a small offset. Found i needed more space so I sold the offset and upgraded to a huge trailer pit. I soon found that it was a little overkill, and since the wife hated it parked in the driveway it was soon sold. I went back to the gasser for now, but it gave out last fall. As soon as work calms down (first of May) I am going to embark on the next leg of my journey. I am going to build a stumper clone. I have been researching and drawing plans for months now. I have ordered therms, hinges, handles, and some other stuff just to get ready. Cant wait to get some steel and start welding.

I have really gotten bit by the smoke bug. Brisket, chicken, pork butt, ribs, corn, fatties, all get pretty good reviews from the fam and freinds. I havent done a cook since the fall and I am going into withdrawal.
