I'm not driving this time cuz it can be brutal - especially coming home. Learned from experience that detox and driving from a weekend at Mary's don't mix well. So I booked my flight last night. $117 round trip plus $21 for airport parking. Driving round trip between fuel and tolls would have been $120. No brainer. Flight arrives at 9:15am. Assuming Mary's shuttle arrives on time, we can have a brisket on by 10:00 or 10:30, start the chili, and have everything set up for the weekend by early afternoon.

I know what you speak of brother…
Back in April I said something in a post about not being able to make it, due to the price of tickets. At that time it was going to cost me in excess of $400. We have no cheap airfare airlines here.
Mary asked me to call him, and while we were on the phone he checked. He couldn’t believe it either.
I kept farking around with it and finally found something around $300. I had to extend my stay. Mary may have to adopt me. Don’t know what I can do to earn my keep (Probably shouldn’t have said that  ) seeing as he already has a maid and a landscaper.
Anyway, about 10 days after I got my NONREFUNDABLE ticket, there in the newspaper was an announcement about “Cheap airfares coming to Columbia as of June 16.”
It’s no wonder people go postal.
Oh yea, I haven’t checked how much a ticket would cost now. It would just probably piss me off more, but it might enable me to make the Fall Bash. 8)

Well it looks like I am going to miss this one. My daughter was going to France with her class on monday 6/28 which was good because i would be home by then. Well at a meeting last night we were told that the flight they were taking has been changed and they are now scheduled to fly on Sunday at about noon. They want them at the airport 3 hours before flight time. That means we have to leave at about 6:00 AM to get there on time.

This sux... Looks like they would show a little mercy and give
us a post and some pictures. And maybe that's not a good idea,
I'm miserable enough already. Wonder if they have lit a fire
yet???

The question should be "Have they managed to light each other on fire yet?"

4 drunk birds going on in the AM. Q'd 4 pork butts a couple weeks ago and threw 'em in the freezer for a party at the in-law's tomorrow. I'll smoke the birds and then feed 'em pulled pork & chicken. Ever since I started smoking I seem to have become quite popular come party time....

Sunday night 10:18 Central. Greg is on. I guess the rest of the brothers that made the trip are in bed, power washing their soiled drawers, telling the wife how NOTHING happened. I see how you guys are.....

CandyAsses?

Mary, Chad and I were up Friday till near 4am, Sat. Phil and I till near 3:30am. We tucked their asses in all weekend.

So last night, I went night night at 9:15. Greg calls at 9:45pm. I answer "Whaaaauuhh?" We babbled something, and I fell back asleep.

We all pretty much ran full speed on Friday, sliding into home on Sunday. Now I gotta get some work done.

Have a good day fellas.

Sorry Bill. Never even thought about you working today. I was trying to tell you how much I loved Ray's nuts and that they never even made it back to the house.

Thanks bud.

I have a feeling Ray is going to be getting some orders! The "extra" spicy were some kind of GOOD!!

All the new bros were just foaming at the mouth after trying them -- one true candyass ate a whole bag by himself!

Bill had to hide the farking box so we'd have some to take home!!
