Fatty diverted

So I got this 1lb JD Maple Fatty to smoke for $1.79 because the date expired the next day (last Friday) when I was gonna smoke it and a bunch or other stuff. Well, due to a major weather shift, smoking did not happen. Major wind storms and snowing. So, today I sliced and cooked it on the stove, ate it for lunch with mustard on hot dog buns. So what you say, just wanted to share, it was real good.

And I got a JD Hot Fatty still to smoke! :D

Still have yet to try a fatty on the smoker. You fellas keep talking it up, not sure it's gonna live up to my expectations, got one in the freezer. Al, thought you were moving to Arkansas? It's gotta be a little better atmosphere for q-ing.

Bryan, I can heartily recommend smoking up a Blue & Gold fatty if you have one lying around. Whoa...

The JD maple is good, but too sweet without being hot. Need to put a hot rub on it first next time.

The JD hot is the bomb. By far the best I've had so far. Tried Farmland, but too much like breakfast sausage.

Next experiment will be a hamburger fatty.
