Hey, I'm looking for recommendations on a competition quality atomic clock. Something that is easy to read, easy to hang, mount, or otherwise display under the EZ-up, something that doesn't need to be manually set, and something that's accurate to within a second.

Suggestions?

Thanks,

My wife uses one of these in her classroom. Easy to read... didn't really need any setup. When turned on and after it got a signal the hands started moving to the correct time and seems right on when compared a computer clock comparing it's minute change with actual seconds. No second hand however.

I got one at Radio Shack that works well. Dropped it a couple times and no problems.

Seen one at Sam's that looks good too.

We use the one above from Sam's and it has gone thru a beating and still works great.

Bought mine at Amazon under 20 bucks if I remember right...that was 3 years ago.

The link above for Sam's didn't work for me.

This one is $17.56 at Sam's

Do you want an atomic clock or one that can synch to the judges clock? Would the atomic clock allow you to override the time to be dead-on to the judge?

In my experience, every contest has used a silver clock that looks like the one in the Sam's link which is radio synched, so there should be no minipulation required. It has always matched our mobile phone clocks to second.

I was wondering the same thing myself (sync vs. comp time). Glad to see they're
using the same one. Looks like a slightly less expensive one on Amazon:
