Bear with me guys this will be long - admins feel fee to move but way down deep this is about Q. I saw an avatar in a post recently that I thought my son-inlaw would like - didn't snag it and could not find the post. Went thru the member list and found it (a spinning ring). I was amazed at how many people have signed up and never posted.

I just what to shout up to these people;

We are dealing with an inexact science

We are dealing with inexact devices

Anyone could have information that the rest of us would love to have.

I had an English prof at UT in "Engineering Writing" who put what you could write about into 3 categories fact, opinion, and judgement.

Fact is something that can be proven by science...
Opinion is just what one person believes
Judgment is a considered decision given some facts and some unknowns but is a most valid and valuable thing.

OK how does this relate to Q

Fact - Pork is done at 170 degrees
Opinon - "Rice sucks" and "Bury it in the back yard"
Judgement - 3-2-1 verses no foil for Q

What I am saying is that we see posts of all these things all the time (is the SPAM poll fact or opinon?) and are better for it.

So I would like to see even more facts, advice(judgements), or opinons(BS) from even more people that do it now

Should have been posed as a killer final exam question in that class

SPAM is good - Is that a fact, an opinon, or a judgement?

AND, what is rational for your answer.
