Hey Neil. We dont have any more spots left. I can add you to the waiting list if you want. We still need some judges if you can.

No offense taken Peter. :becky:
Rick is one of the big guys now.
However he will some some competition this year. Quau was unable to come back this year (he is coming back next year) but he has been replaced with Parrothead Smokers. Plus Blues Hog is coming back after a one year absence.

Glad to hear Bill is comming..Hope he brings "the Blues Hog Girls"..My kids need someone to hang out with so they won't just spend money at the mall.
I have been thinking about not cooking and going over and trying to be Rick's box runner, then maybe he can teach me how to cook chicken..

Actually, judging was what I was thinking of, not competing. I know I have some things on that day already, but I may see if I can shift some stuff.

I sold my FEC for what I paid for it, and I used a CTO at Murphysboro and Mike Mills sold me on the Ole Hickory.

Rick's Pit Stop

Yep. Benton, Ky - Sikeston - Washington - Hazelwood. Then a break. I'll probably cook Steelville, IL and the GAB Invite/Open contests in May. After that, who knows?

I thought thats what you said.. ..We will have to wait and let you beat us at Washington...If I cook 4 or 5 contests in a row, I will also have to see the divorce attourney...Then I couldnt afford to cook anymore...
Hope you have good luck at Benton..I won't be standing there....

I have infiltrated the Pitstop household posing as a contractor, Rick has been cooking chicken for my guys, I been taking notes.... One secret i will share with all is that He does marinate his chicken in Gatorade for 6 hours. Judges like the green tint!

Looks like I'll be needing a new contractor! Hey Doc, in the not-so-famous words of Mr Trump .... "You're Fired!" :heh:

To keep this on-topic: I could probably use a box maker/runner for a few of those contests I listed, including Hazelwood. I've had some offers but nothing set in stone yet.

I thought that was your favorite part of the contest Rick? You told me, and so did Bill, that you LOVE making up the boxes.

Good luck in Benton, we'll see you in Sikeston. And NO, I wont help you with your boxes in Sikeston. I'm not saying Mary Beth cant be worked a bit to help you, but thats between you and her. I'm out.
