Thats right, the Arednab has arrived. Assemble this eve, (Pffsst) Season burn tomorrow, weather permitting, its been rotten, and pound you guys with a couple hundred questions.
Can't wait for the guesses even though we know the answer.

I have sausage hook envy.
What'd it come with, 16 hooks?

Well I dont know yet, don't get off till 5 (MDT)
Question, do I put all the racks and hooks and stuff inside during the season burn?

Six, sure you'll get other opinions but I didn't put any of the chrome looking stuff (rib rack, hooks, skewers, rods) in for seasoning. Didn't do the cooking grates either. All have cleaned up nice. The seasoning as I understand it is to set the paint and bake oil into the finish for corrosion prevention. If your assembly book is the same as mine it is wrong about the placement of the firebox lid handle. Look at the picture stuck to the door.
Chrome racks must be a Brinkmann thing.

Chrome racks must be a Brinkmann thing.
Just the rib rack is chrome the cooking grates are porcelain coated.

Congrats sixgun. You will be like a kid in a candy store for awhile. Don't forget to smoke a fatty on your first Q. 8)

Thanks All.
These things don't travel too well do they? Farking people that handle stuff in shipment just don't care. But, it is together and the season burn is going on right now. I'm over it now but last nite I was pi$$ed. Tools required for assembly are;
Dig out the metric crap. 17mm nuts.
#3 phillips
Prybar
Mig welder
Hammer
Dead blow hammer
2 large pliers
6-pac
Had to straigten out some metal and make some repairs but all was well this morning. Like I said, the season burn is going on now, I have no clue as to the temp as the thermometer that came with it was destroyed. I'm fixin to go out and fine one, maybe even a Nu-temp.
Tomorrow we'll break her in with a couple of Pheasants, a bunny and maybe a fatty. I wonder if I should toss in some Dove breasts for a while? I wonder if I should do the fatty at the same time as the game?

If Brinkman is like NB, if you call them, they will ship you a replacement thermometer.
IMHO, the Dove breasts will be better grilled. Try one smoked and one grilled and let us know and the bunny also.
Good signature :!:
