Finally started working on my trailer. Its exciting to see it transform from an empty trailer to a mobile competition rig!

The bottom cabinets will actually be a high-gloss black lacquer when finished (w/stainless pulls). The top cabinets will have black lacquer sides but the doors will be thick frosted plexiglass fronts with heavy trimmed stainless molding.

How do cabinets hold up on the road all the time?

Hey, idea.... buy some of those toddler Refrigerator locks to tie down the doors in transit. They work wonders... find one though that will fold out of the way easily (like the vinyl clip style, so you don't have to screw with it at the event!

Thanks everybody. I'm really enjoying the process. Trying not to rush things to completion but just tinkering and taking my time. I started putting doors and drawers on today. Will finish the upper cabinets tomorrow, then countertops, sink, and faucet.

Thanks...that also reminds me to install a fire extinguisher :-D !!!

I got gigged at a competition in Atlanta for not having one (we left our RV home and it had out extinguisher...Bad thing is, my brother is the City Fire Marshall and the guy knew my brother !!! (He let me slide on the extinguisher but made me have a garden hose nearby).
