Sup guys! Actually it was the newly inducted Mook that brought me to this site as I have recently wanted to get really deep in to the smoking/Q'ing world. Got a grill from Mook as a gift two years ago and got a NB Smoker for my b-day last year. Now this has developed into a full blown sickness! Anyone know of a cure? Thanks in advance for all of the insight folks.

Welcome aboard bigmofo:

Cure? Nope; Our craft is more like a remedy for the hectic world; or at least temporarily. No going back and no use anyway.

Welcome to the colony. No, there's no cure :D Thankfully  We're mostly like the guys your mom really didn't want you hanging out with -- we tend to spit and scratch and cuss and lie and throw peanut shells on the floor (especially Bill)

In spite of all that we tend to have some pretty good ideas about 'que, too.

Your have found the cure for your sickness, for here you are not sick, you are the one who is normal hear, and everyone else is farked up.

Welcome BigMoFo (great name). I always say, be suspicious of a skinny cook. Don't be afraid to jump in and join the madness we call home.

Let's see.....

Paul Kirk = good food
Paul Prudhomme = good food
Mario Batali = good food

Euell Gibbons = bad food

If they are such a good cook, then why don't they eat too much of it and be overweight? It is not to say only fat people are are good cooks, or that skinny people can't cook. I know some very good skinny cooks, but I know a whole lot more good fat cooks.

Well some of you Chads were drooling over how awesome Alton Brown is on FoodTV and he is thin. I heard he's part of the next Queer Eye cast.

Jamie Oliver is thin too.

Now Rachel Rey is just right. She's a hottie.
