Todd, which supplier are they (the Piggly Wiggly) using, or are they going straight
to you? I'll check to see if our local Piggly Wiggly's will carry it. They carry
Blues Hog, might as well carry your rubs, wouldn't 'ya think?

Good price there. In Cali its a whopping $9.00 for the larger container. We need more price competition out here.

I hear ya. That's the best price I've ever seen. They must be planning on a lot of volume. Let's hope!!! :mrgreen:

Thank you everyone. You would be surprised how little margin there is on this stuff, so no BBQ millionaire in my future, or even replacing my current job. It is about the fun of seeing your name in lights on the shelf or Website and hearing that people enjoy your work. That is still the best part.

Man, that price is outstanding. Congrats on the placement. I did hear that one supplier of my favorite rubs is moving a lot closer to me, at least I can save shipping.

that is excellent, can you please explain the difference between a rub and a marinade? Rub is dry correct?

I have to take credit for the photo, no photoshop lol! This little display actually sold really well, and I had to reorder in about 3 weeks to refill. And on a side note, I won second place in pork, by sprinkling a little yardbird on my pulled before saucing it. Must've worked, lol. And yes Virginia, there still are Piggly wiggly's left in this world.

Hey Todd, if you ever get into point of sale materials like posters, signage , etc. let me have some to hang up in the store. Its nice having unique products that our competition doesnt have, aka walmart. He he! So if we can promote that uniqueness, that will give us an edge. Thanks for doing business with us little guys in florida. Wish I was closer so I could come to the class.
