The wife stepped up big-time yesterday, following my recent emergency "appendectomy mod", purchasing her Papa Bear a set of new utensils. (COSTCO - $28.99) Judging by the spatula alone, it can be used to flip a good-sized “turd” or your above average brontosaurus burger Fred!!!!

Almost picked up the same set this morning. Looks like some quality stuff for 30bucks.

Let us know if the scraper is any good.

they have a wood handled one out at our BJs (like sams, costco)... very similar... no scraper but a big ass knife :)

The tongs don't meet quite right for meat - I use em to move the coals around

Who's Norm?

Isn't he the guy that can build a mansion out of a couple 2X4's and a condom ?

The spatula alone is worth the ~30 bucks, the brush is so so, bristles a little stiff and short, tongs are fair. All utensils are veriy rigid and will stand up to heavy use. I leave mine outside year a round in the AZ weather. Havent tested the heat resistant qualities of the handle

Yea, emergency appendectomy at that. You boyz want NOTHING to do with that appendix. I guess you could say it was "smoked". Nasty stuff. I'm going to tie-wrap my mop to the brush.
