My local Home Depot had the new "Char-Broil" version of the Bandera, and it looks like the quality has dropped off. It just didn't seem as sturdy, almost as if the metal is thinner. It also seemed smaller, I think the smoker chamber and firebox have shrunk a bit.
Could have just been my imagination, but it just doesn't seem the same.

i have the char-broil version, the grill area is a little small but i haven't run into a problem with fitting all the food i needed on at the same time (yet).

Jsn,
When you get a minute, post the dimensions of both boxes, as well as the grill grates.

Bill,on my brinkmann, the cooking grates are 15 5/8w x 16d (same as NB?), firebox is nom. 16 x 19 x 12h to the cooking grate. How do these dimensions compare to NB and CB.
