5 or 6. Depends on the event. When vendingyou usually pay a heavy fee so higher price. For a catered event if they get lots of people and multiple sides maybe sell for less.

Thanks for the feedback.
We are looking into vending at a local flea market as well as a farmers market.

What do most of you serve up? 4oz or 5.33oz?

I have been selling at farmers markets and vending and charge $4 for just a 4oz PP sandwich. Try to be competitive with the hot dog and burger vendors which sell a combo (drink and chips included) for $3.

I maybe going to $5 as prices have gone up to attend the local markets and events.

So true. You need to have those dogs and burgers smoked and sell them at the same price as the wienie wagons at a farmers market. Now if it's only BBQ there you can get more and sell the dogs for $3 and burgers for $4 real easy plus chips and pop extra.

And for the original post you need to know what is already being sold there and what the prices are. I tried 1 farmers market and I thought it would be great but established vendors with wienie wagons killed me. Can't compete and frankly don't want to.

Depends on the area market.... I did some vending in Mooresville a couple of years ago. I sold sandwiches alone for $5... also had sides and meals. I made out pretty good. I stacked the meat, abt 1/4lb, on a burger bun, and people were happy with it. Now that was abt 4 yrs ago.... and that area has grown so you might be able to get a nickel more.... LOL...

Good luck.
