charcoal basket - expanded metal divider

BigAl, I'm still lovin your basket (two chuck roasts sunday, 7 hrs in the beast). One thing I've noticed is that it would be handy to have a section divider made of expanded metal (maybe framed like the ends) instead of solid steel. Having a expanded metal divider would allow me to enclose just one section as far from the cook chamber as possible and allowing the heat to pass through. Do you understand what I'm saying? If so, I was wondering if you could work one up for me. Of course, I'd be willing to pay you for it. I'd want it with tabs so I could move it the same as the solid steel dividers. I went ahead and posted this on the board instead of contacting you direct in case anyone else may want to provide any feedback or maybe want one too. If you understand what I'm asking and want to take it on, send me personal note with an estimate of the cost.

I am wondering what you want to accomplish with the expanded divider "one section as far away from the cook chamber"? Why not just move a metal divider to the right and and fill from it to the right side of the basket. The air is heated , is under pressure and will draw to the left thru the smoke chamber anyway. Let's talk about it so I can understand what you want to accomplish.
