How about Lawrys Seasoned Salt bought in bulk from the depot? I think thats a pretty good base rub for catering. Can be easily doctored if you are looking to kick it up.

Maybe you should develop your own rub and maybe sell it in bottle at your vending site. Should bring some extra income.

Matt, you can also check with Phil Hopkins with Smokin' Guns. I know he sells it in 25# boxes at a per pound rate. I think it was pretty reasonable in price per pound. Plus it's a awesome rub.
